The company OnePlus has started releasing a new update to OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T smartphones. The update is as OxygenOS 4.0.1 and it’s a Nougat-based update that brings number of changes, including fix for Play Store downloads problem.

If you are not able to download apps from google play store, this update is suggesting number of alternate steps including Google’s guidance like, turning on Battery Saving Mode and resetting Play Store app preferences, or force stopping/uninstalling these apps: Truecaller, AVG Antivirus, and PayTm.

"If you are trying to download via Data Roaming, it will not work. This is a known Google issue," the change-log for the update says.

Those experiencing mobile data issues caused by APN are advised to go to the APN settings page and manually choose try all the options. The change-log also says that "WiFi connectivity might still fluctuate."
