T-Mobile Galaxy S6 edge+ will get Android 7.0 Nougat official firmware next week
Samsung devices have reputation of receiving android updates late, making android phone users furious and T-mobile Galaxy S6 edge+ is not the exception. The T-Mobile-branded variant of the device will be receiving an OTA next week that will update the phone to Android 7.0 Nougat official firmware. The update brings efficiency enhancements, a revamped UI, and some aesthetic differences with bug fixes of previous updates.
T-Mobile’s product manager, Des - known for doing his crazy unboxings - has tweeted that engineers have approved the update and will begin seeding the OTA “early next week”. It’s about time, considering that Google I/O is right around the corner where Google will announce Android O and its features. It just never ends.
Just keep in mind after release of update, it will take some time to reach all corners of the region as update will be released in phases. Make sure to charge atleast 50% before downloading and installing the update.
